At low temperatures, the activity of lithium batteries decreases, and discharge accelerates. To ensure optimal performance in winter, it is recommended to take the following measures:
1.Set the DOD (Depth of Discharge) to 50%. In extremely low temperatures (e.g., snowy days), it is recommended to set the DOD to 30% to ensure adequate energy storage.
2.If the battery has not been charged for more than a week, it is recommended to stop discharging until the state of charge is back above 90% before reactivating it.
3.For users with additional batteries, it is recommended to fully charge them, turn them off, and store them offline.
4.Avoid deep discharges to prevent the battery from remaining in a low state of charge for an extended period.
5.Check the photovoltaic panels regularly, especially after heavy snowfall, to ensure they are not covered in snow and provide normal power supply.
To update the firmware version of the B2500D, follow these steps:
1. Open the app, go to 'Settings' and select 'Devices'.
2. Click to check the latest firmware version and follow the instructions to complete the update. If you have not received an update notification, please contact our after-sales service team via the 'User Feedback' feature in the app, and we will provide you with the latest version as soon as possible.
The device has two operating modes:
1. Automatic mode: The device works in conjunction with the smart meters in the same home network and adjusts the grid power output in real-time based on household power data to compensate for household load losses and ensure that the power demand is met.
2. Manual mode: The device provides a fixed grid power output within the time frame set by the user. If no time frame is set, the device does not output any grid power.
Regardless of the mode, the device will automatically feed excess photovoltaic energy into the grid as soon as the battery is full.
The rated voltage of the device is 59V, the rated current is 13.5A. The B2500 offers two input specifications: 1000W and 1600W (New Version). Please carefully read the user manual and select the appropriate solar modules for installation. Ensure that voltage and current do not exceed the rated values. Although the device has protection features against overvoltage and overcurrent, exceeding the rated values can lead to damage or safety risks. If you need to connect more than two solar modules, you may consider using a 'Y' cable.
When selecting the configuration for solar panels, the rated voltage (59V) and the rated current (13.5A) of the device should be taken into account.
1. Series Configuration: Connect the positive and negative terminals of multiple solar panels together. The voltage adds up, but the current remains the same. Make sure that the total voltage does not exceed the rated voltage of the device.
2. Parallel Configuration: Connect the positive terminals and the negative terminals of multiple solar panels together. The current adds up, but the voltage remains the same. Make sure that the total current does not exceed the rated current of the device (13.5A).
Legal notice (Germany)
To benefit from the simplified exemption rules for plug-and-play solar power systems according to Section 8 Paragraph 5a EEG 2023:
- The installed PV capacity must be < 2000 Wp.
- The apparent power of the inverter must be ≤ 800 VA P.
If your total PV output exceeds 2,000 Wp, additional requirements may be imposed by the grid operator, e.g.:
a) Registration
b) Obligation to modify the meter
c) Formal approval procedures: Please inform yourself about the applicable local regulations before installation.
Plug & Play solar systems can generally be installed independently. However, in Germany, registration in the MaStR portal (www.marktstammdatenregister.de) is mandatory.
Commissioning and grid connection must be carried out by certified professionals. An electrician is legally required to ensure compliance with all regulations.
