FAQ
How does the Venus C/E work?
When the power grid is available, the Venus Energycube can save electricity costs by storing electricity when prices are low and discharging it when prices are high, or by charging via the solar panels during the day and discharging at night. If the power grid fails, the Venus Energycube can still be charged via the solar panels and serve as a backup power source to power critical appliances.
How can I control the input/output of the Venus C/E?
First, the Venus Energycube should be added to the Marsrtek app. Then you can manually adjust the charging and discharging times and power. Alternatively, you can select adaptive mode if it's paired with a smart meter.
Which smart meters are compatible with the Venus C/E?
Currently, Jupiter supports Marstek Smart Meter CT002 and Shelly pro 3em. If you use a P1 meter, Marstek CT003 can be used with it for smart power distribution.
Which charging methods does the Venus C/E support?
On the one hand, the Venus Energycube can be charged via the mains using an AC cable with a maximum charging power of 2500 W.
Alternatively, the Venus Energycube can also be charged by the PV system by connecting it to the same phase as the PV system. The maximum charging power in this case is also 2500 W.
Can the capacity of the Venus C/E be expanded?
The capacity of the Venus C is 2560 Wh, and the capacity of the Venus E is 5120 Wh. The battery capacity cannot be expanded. However, you can install multiple Venus Energycubes on the same phase to increase the backup capacity on that phase accordingly.
