Electricity cost savings, CO₂ reduction: Up to €1,104 per year and 2,412 kg CO₂:
Power generation:
According to data from MARSTEK's proprietary EMS platform, a 1000W solar panel in Southern Europe can generate up to 1,160 kWh annually. This product supports up to 2,400W of solar power, resulting in an annual generation of 1,160 × 2.4 = 2,784 kWh. Annual storage capacity: 10.48 kWh × 365 = 3,825.2 kWh.
Calculation assumptions:
Self-consumption rate: 85% ( source ); Fixed electricity price: €0.40/kWh; Difference between peak and low prices: €0.132/kWh; CO₂ reduction: Every 1 kWh of solar power reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 0.997 kg ( source ).
Calculation details:
Annual electricity cost savings:
= Savings from self-consumption + Savings through AI-optimized charging
= 2,784 kWh × 85% × €0.40 + (3,825.2 kWh − 2,784 kWh × 85%) × €0.132
≈ €1,104
- Estimated CO₂ reduction amount:
= 2,784 kWh × 85% × 0.997
≈ 2,412 kg
Note: Actual savings may vary depending on local solar radiation, actual electricity price, frequency of device usage, and individual electricity consumption.
Legal notice (Germany)
To benefit from the simplified exemption rules for plug-and-play solar power systems according to Section 8 Paragraph 5a EEG 2023:
- The installed PV capacity must be < 2000 Wp.
- The apparent power of the inverter must be ≤ 800 VA P. If your total PV output exceeds 2000 Wp, additional requirements may apply.

a) Registration
b) Obligation to modify the meter
c) Formal approval procedures: Please inform yourself about the applicable local regulations before installation.
Plug & Play solar systems can generally be installed independently. However, in Germany, registration in the MaStR portal (www.marktstammdatenregister.de) is mandatory.
Commissioning and grid connection must be carried out by certified professionals. An electrician is legally required to ensure compliance with all regulations.
